Experience an enjoyable afternoon with good food, fellowship and entertainment!
Seniors Connecting at Knox is a ministry that began on April 24, 2014.
A delicious homemade lunch served to your tables will be followed by a feature event involving entertainment provided on a monthly basis. There is no fee, but a free will donation will be appreciated.
Monthly Date: Last Thursday of each month
Fall 2021 - Lunch package deliveries as described in the New Ministry below will be continued into the fall season and longer
if necessary. Lunches will not be held in Metcalf Hall until further restrictions have been lifted.
A New Ministry During COVID-19
During the pandemic Seniors Connecting at Knox is embracing a new format in delivering frozen soup lunch packages once a month on the 4th Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. The homemade soup is prepared in our Knox kitchen and frozen in single portion containers. This frozen soup lunch package is provided to seniors who are isolated or find it difficult to go out. It is a new expression of our ministry since COVID-19 keeps us from eating in person over lunch in Metcalf Hall.
