LOGOS is a mid-week Ministry that runs on Wednesday evenings from 5:00pm to 7:30pm for 24 weeks from September to April.
LOGOS is based on the premise that all relationships are important. This includes our relationship with God as well as relationships between children and children, children and adults and adults and adults.
LOGOS has a defining philosophical statement: “You are a child of God and you shall be treated that way. No one may treat another person as if he/she does not matter.”

Every LOGOS evening consists of four parts:
Family Time: Family Time is a cross generational time that involves a Grace, a shared meal, a thank-you to the cooks and a game. The theme changes every week. Children sit in family groups with two adult Table Parents at each table. Everyone participates in all aspects of Family Time.
Bible Time: Children are grouped by age for Bible Study. We use the Faith for Life curriculum from Gen-On Ministries.
Worship Skills: Worship Skills helps to prepare children to participate in Sunday worship. Singing, drumming, drama, scripture reading, bells and tone chimes are all included. LOGOS members participate in Sunday worship services every 4-6 weeks.
Recreation/Play: Rec/Play focuses on having great fun at the expense of no one. Active games, craft activities, outings and invited guests are all part of Rec/Play.
Anyone! Children and youth from JK to Grade 12. You do not need to be a member of our church to be a part of LOGOS.
Parent participation is required for all children involved.
Adult volunteers participate in the program.
Knox Kids Connect:
An Update From LOGOS and Sunday School
At Knox, all our relationships are important to us and we need to continue to nurture them even though we won’t be having Sunday School or LOGOS in the Fall. In place of our regular ministries, we will be offering a pen-pal program. It will be called, “Knox Kids Connect” and will involve all the kids from both LOGOS and Sunday School. Each child who chooses to participate will be paired with an adult from the congregation that is familiar to them. Then they will write letters to each other. Both the child and the adult will be asked to write one letter per month. You will be provided with a kit that includes everything you need: writing paper, envelopes, stamps, addresses and a calendar to keep everything on schedule. Please watch your e-mail for a registration form that will be coming soon. We can’t wait to hear from you!
When regular programs can be resumed, note a normal schedule below.
